• The default Fire Texture show up, but now you want to make the Wave Texture.
Use the dropdown menu from this option with it's small arrow.

  • Just like the Wet Texture, this Wave Texture will produce rain and wet effects.
It makes use of the Dragwork with the mouse in the "Preview Area".
  • Except the fact that both Wave and Wet textures produce the same effects, the wave effect has and need no source texture, it only uses a color palette, and 20 styles to play with.
Again, the clear button will stop the current animating effects to allow the new effects.

  • The "PhongRange" controls the highlighted parts range.
  • The "PhongSize" controls the brightness of the highlited parts of the effect.
  • The "WaveAmp" wave amplitude acts on the effects wave strenght.
  • The "BumpMapAngle" controles the effects sense upwards or Downwards in 3D sight.
  • The "BumpMapLight" controles the effects brightness.

  • With the right settings you can create nice effects as for example a curtain receiving some movement from wind, using the "DropType" : DROP_VerticalOsc with an FX_Size as 255.
And for convenience, it is allowed using Wave textures as detail textures on another texture producing nice effects.
