first extract all files from the StuuSwapper Zipfile
right in the Unreal Tournament, don't put it in a subfolder, just here
in the root for UT, else it wont work, so it would look like this >>>
D:\Unreal Tournament>Stuffswapper.exe ............. etc.
First just start the StuffImporter v2.2
You will see 2 columns, Mods and configs, just leave these for now
In the menu select Import > Import from MOD >
you will be presented with a selector window
Select the U-File containing a weapon, for example that U-File
you've downloaded from my pages, BullPowerRifle.
The StuffSwapper will open a DOS window, don't interrupt it.
When done, You will see that weapon in the Right pane
the MOD pane, if you cannot see it, then scroll down.
And that's it, the weapon or weapons and their ammo are
there, ready for use in game.
The other thing you will have to do, is to select it in the games mutator.
So, launch UT.
in the menu go to MOD
Scroll and find the mod called StuffSwapper >>
First thing to do is to make StuffSwapper scan for changes you've made
this is the add of the new weapon, so go to its last tab called Mods.
Here hit the button on the bottom "Check for Mods"
You will see 2 panes "Included" and "Excluded"
These maen the included are the mods and weapons you actually have
Excluded are the proposed existing mods, but you don't have these.
So, now you can make a choice of the weapons you like in the
rightpane list.
Here you should see the added weapon, example " BullPowerRifle".
Finally to make it available in game and from start, go to the tab
called "Starting" and from here you can select in what slot you like
to put this weapon.
For example let's start with slot " Extra slot 1" in the mods column
leftclick the down arrow on its right end.
select the weapon from the list
now select the weapon in the right column.
There are 2 columns cos some mods contain weapons and ammo
So it offers to chose also ammo if necesary.
Now when you've selected it, you are ready to play with this weapon.
You can also modify the weapons, ammo and items that are placed
in map by the mapper >>>
At the very left side you see the original weapons placed in map
by the mapmaker, these can be replaced in game at their position
with the weapons you select from what mod.
To do so, you first select the mod where you select the weapon from
in the Mods column, then select what weapon to use
Example for the Minigun you select the BullRebelMac mod
and use it's RebelMac weapon ad shown here.
You can also adapt the ammo placed in map by the mapmaker
to fit the needs of the new weapon you will use, so that you will not find
sniper and rocket ammo, and play with only the rebelmac that cannot use
these ammo packs >>>
Again, in the left column select the mod that will give ammo, then
in the right column, select the available ammo from that mod
as you can see in the example the ammo for Bio-sludge, Shock Core
Pulse Cell, Blade Hopper and Minigun ammo will be switched for
the BullRebelMac Mod ammo > BullMac Clip.
In case the ModMaker put some items in his mod, you can
do the same for these here >>>
In this case i left the UT originals, cos i did not make items
but it works the same way.
In any case, if some Mod contains all stuf you like and you don't wanna
play with UT originals, then simply select the mod in one of the slots
and hit the button below marked as "Sync Mods", this will put the selected
mod in all slots.
You can also hit button "Leave All" if you wanna leave all map items
as they were made by mapmaker, weapons, items, etc.
You can use the "Remove All" Obvious removes all these selected items.
You can also change the priority of the weapons you are using
when you switch or when auto pickup switch is activated
And finally, if you make different configurations, like if you like
to play with the BullRifle for TDM or you prefer the Super Sniper Rifle for
CTF, you can make your selections first then save the config by naming
it for example TDM config in slots one, CTF confi in slot, etc
Select it first by checking it at right checkbox, then give it a name.
When you've selected all thins you like, simply close the stuffswapper
and launch a new game " start new multi-player game".
In the game selection open the small tab Mutators under
the Maplist button >>
Select the mod from the left and put it to the right to make it active >>>
